Cools, a company specializing in metallization process technology for glass substrates, has proposed a way to resolve open circuits at the via center, a chronic problem in conformal plating, using PDA (polydopamine).
The company explained that coating PDA before metallization can induce plating at the via center even when deposition is incomplete.
