Privacy Policy
Cools Co., Ltd. (the company) establishes and discloses this privacy policy as follows, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, to protect the personal data of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly.
Article 1. Purpose of processing
The company processes personal data to confirm and answer inquiries made through this site and to provide the materials you request. If the purpose changes, we ask for separate consent.
Article 2. Items processed
Required: name, email, the content of the inquiry, and the fields of the inquiry type you choose (technical: company and role / press: outlet and deadline / investment and partnership: firm). Optional: areas of interest, materials you need, deadline, stage of review.
Article 3. Retention period
We keep the record for one year from the day the inquiry is closed, then destroy it. Where another law sets a retention period, we keep it for that period.
Article 4. Destruction procedure and method
Personal data whose retention period has passed, or whose purpose has been met, is destroyed without delay. Electronic files are deleted by a method that cannot be recovered; paper documents are shredded.
Article 5. Provision to third parties
The company does not provide personal data to third parties. Cases where a law makes special provision are an exception.
Article 6. Entrusted processing
The company entrusts the processing of personal data as follows, so that the work runs smoothly.

Article 7. Transfer abroad
The items transferred are those listed in Article 2. The purpose is to operate this site and to send the inquiry notification. The retention period is the same as Article 3. If you do not submit the form, nothing is transferred.

Article 8. Rights of data subjects and how to exercise them
You may at any time ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or ask us to stop processing it. Requests by email (contact@cools.co.kr), by phone, or through the contact form are acted on without delay. You may also make a request through a representative.
Article 9. Measures to ensure safety
We keep administrator access to the minimum: inquiry records can be read only by the administrator and the editor, and only the administrator can delete them. The content of a submitted inquiry cannot be edited afterwards; only the handling status and a memo can be changed. Traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, and administrator passwords are stored hashed.
Article 10. Automatic collection devices
The company does not use cookies or other devices that collect personal data automatically.

Article 13. Effective date
This policy applies from September 22, 2026. If it changes, we announce it on this site seven days before the change takes effect, and earlier versions can be read on this page.
