Cools has been selected for the technology discovery and startup support program run by Gyeongnam Gimhae Innopolis.
Gyeongnam Gimhae Innopolis is one of Korea's designated research and development zones, with Inje University as its core technology institution. The program identifies commercialization demand for publicly funded technologies and links it to technology transfer or equity investment. It also supports validation of business items, prototype development, matching for missing technologies, and introductions to startup investors.
Cools was founded in April 2026 in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, and develops thermal control technology for advanced semiconductor packaging. Its Thermal Clutch replaces air-jet convection cooling in the HBM bonding process with direct solid-contact conduction. The company operates in cooling module supply, joint equipment development, and IP licensing.
