Cools has been selected for the 15th cohort of IBK Changgong Busan Center, the startup incubation platform run by Industrial Bank of Korea.
IBK Changgong provides selected companies with office space, investor introductions, sales channel development, and mentoring.
Cools works on semiconductor bonding, heat dissipation, and interfacial thermal control. Its core technology, the Thermal Clutch, replaces air-jet convection cooling in HBM bonding equipment with direct solid-contact conduction, with the aim of reducing the share of the bonding cycle spent on cooling.
CEO Jinhyun Cho said the company will accelerate field validation of the Thermal Clutch and expand its global partnerships.
Alongside IBK Changgong Busan Center, Cools is also taking part in the 5th cohort of KDB NextONE Busan.
